Sheik Ingo Taleb Rashid / Goro Kimura
"FEAR AND TRANSFORMATION"
Saturday 05. and Sunday 06. of August 2006

In ancient times Healing, Dance and Spirituality were connected. Healing was considered as a way to pass through the necessary experiences to be able to grow in a spiritual sense.

Depending on how we deal with fear it can have different effects. It can be paralyzing and destructive. On the other hand through confrontation with our fear in its totality and through confrontation with our dark sides we have the chance to integrate the lessons that fear can teach us and make it useful for our growth. A lot of energy can be released and be transformed into inner power. Fear can help us very much to become mature. Indeed it can become a friend and a teacher.

In a spiritual/holistic approach we will work with Sacred Movement, Dance, Meditation, Breathing, Bodywork and Dhikr (the combination of Voice, Rhythm and Movement) to achieve levels of practical experience for Body, Mind and Spirit. Doing so will enable us to look at our two basic fears:

The fear of falling
The fear of fire

We will go through the following Steps of transformation:
Attention, honesty, affirmation, trust, letting go and assuming responsibility.

This seminar enables us to re-awaken long forgotten abilities on a physical, mental and spiritual level. Eventually we are not trying to get totally rid of fear, for a reasonable amount of fear makes us cautions and can save our lives. Rather we will introduce a different way to deal with it. We call this way:

"To dance with fear"

One Part of the training will be Taki-Gyo (Waterfall training):
Taki-gyo is a very important training in the esoteric Mikyo tradition in Japan. Waterfall training has its very strong effects in purification. We can regain physical, mental and spiritual power. Also because of the natures beauty after Taki-gyo we can realize the importance of the relationship between nature and us as human beings.
